Over the years, I had heard about the wonderful work performed by Professor Chris O‘Brien and how he changed the lives of so many people with cancer.  His dedication, compassion and vision resulted in Chris being made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) and an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO).

It is uncanny that the very thing Chris dedicated his life to, would one day eventually take his own.  Chris succumbed to an aggressive brain tumour on 4 June 2009 after a long three year battle.

Throughout his own battle with cancer, Chris continued to work towards building a legacy to allow his work to continue; The Chris O’Brien Lifehouse at RPA.

The Chris O’Brien Lifehouse at RPA is a state of the art facility being built to provide cancer patients with the best possible treatment by housing all facets of care in one location incorporating all the latest technology.

It is his inspirational story and the statistic that cancer kills 43,000 Australians each year which has inspired me to once again challenge myself and raise money for cancer.

This year, I will be taking part in the Bowral Classic 2017 and hoping to raise much needed funds for Cancer Research through the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.

On October 22nd, I’m going to be sweating it out and doing my best to complete the course through the beautiful Southern Highlands. 

All money raised will benefit The Chris O’Brien Lifehouse at RPA, by raising awareness for cancer research and treatment at Lifehouse.

My goal is to raise a minimum of $10,000.00.  In order to do this, I ask that you dig deep and make a generous donation which goes directly to Lifehouse.  Corporate sponsorship would be greatly appreciated.

Total Concept Security Pty Limited will start off the donations by pledging $200.00.
