Story
Hello friends,
As many of you know, my wife Marta was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in January 2016. After almost a year of Chemo and Radiotherapy at The Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and RPA hospital she has now been in remission for over eight months with two clear scans!
On October 22nd, I'm going to be riding 160km through the NSW Southern Highlands with my regular riding group from Wheely Convenient in the Bowral Classic. The guys and I are hoping to raise as much as we can for the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.
The Lifehouse is Australia’s only not-for-profit, comprehensive cancer centre. They're absolute heroes, I owe them a great deal, they did so much for us, incredible doctors, nurses and staff, I don't know where we would be without them.
Cancer doesn’t discriminate. At anytime in our lives it can affect any one of us, we’re so lucky to have access to centres like The Lifehouse, they help people through situations like ours everyday.
